Arsenal recorded the highest ever win in the Women's Super League to overtake Manchester City at the top of the table.

The Gunners won 11-1 against Bristol City at Meadow Park with Netherlands striker Vivianne Miedema scoring six and making three assists.

Elsewhere, Manchester City scraped a 1-0 win against bottom of the league Liverpool. Defender Gemma Bonner scored after getting the last touch to a Caroline Weir free-kick.

West Ham won 3-2 against newly-promoted Manchester United.

United's Kirsty Hanson opened the scoring in the first minute of the game, before Laura Vetterlein put the home side level.

The second half saw the Hammers' Katharina Baunach and Leanne Kiernan increase the lead. Lauren James then pulled one back for the visitors in the 80th minute.

The Everton and Chelsea game was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
