England international Jo Brown has signed for Premier 15s side Worcester Warriors.

The back-row has signed from fellow top flight club Loughborough Lightning. She has been capped for the Red Roses seven times and was part of the 2019 squad that won the Six Nations Grand Slam.

She said: "I’m really excited to join Worcester as the team are building something great under Jo Yapp [head coach]. I can’t wait to progress my career both on and off the field.”

Brown played for Loughborough for two years after signing in 2018 from Darlington Mowden Park Sharks.

Outside of rugby, Brown works as a physiotherapist in the NHS.

And head coach Jo Yapp added: “We are really excited to have Jo join us. She has international experience and will fit into what is a really competitive and exciting back-row.”

This comes after the club re-signed three of their stars this week.
