Poppy Pattinson has revealed she was ‘hugely impressed’ with head coach Willie Kirk’s plans before she signed for the club earlier this summer.

The 20 year-old England youth international left Bristol City and joined Everton on a two-year deal ahead of the Women’s Super League 2020/21 season.

Pattinson told the club’s website: "I spoke to the manager before I joined and I was hugely impressed by his plans to drive this team on and build a strong group of players who pride themselves in being motivated to work hard and achieve big things.

"We’ve got competition in the squad and there’s a desire every day to improve and get the Club where we want to be, which is at the top.

“The ambitions of the Club are set really high and I want to be a part of that journey.”

The WSL is set to begin on September 5 and Everton will face Bristol City on September 6.
