England and Manchester City defender Aoife Mannion has told how Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh inspire her, in a special International Women's Day video.

The Lionesses released the video of the injured player this morning. The City star suffered an ACL injury last October.

Mannion says in the video: "The first one that pops to mind and one that should pop into everyone's minds is Lucy Bronze.

"She's a player that I think 'wow, she's worked really, really hard to get where she is'. Her fitness and physical capacity, when I go on camps and I try to compete with her, I can't compete, she's too good!

"Something that's getting me through my rehab is thinking 'can I get back to a point where I can compete physically with Lucy Bronze?'

"[And Keira Walsh], she really reminds me of Kevin De Bruyne, or maybe the other way, De Bruyne reminds me of Keira Walsh.

"She can see things that no one else can see and it's a gift."
