Northern Ireland international Lauren Wade has signed for Scottish Women's Premier League side Glasgow City ahead of their 2020 season.

The 26 year-old attacker joins from Icelandic side Thróttur Reykjavik.

She has featured in all four of Northern Ireland's Euro 2021 qualifiers, earning a total of 14 ncaps for the national team.

Speaking about her move, Wade said: "I'm absolutely delighted to have signed for Glasgow City. I can't wait to get started and looking forward to the season ahead."

Wade will join Australian youth international Aoife Colvill, who signed earlier today.

Glasgow City head coach Scott Booth added: "Lauren is a real talent. I've seen her play at a very high level. She works extremely hard for the team but also has the individual qualities to cause defences problems."
