British heptathlete and Olympic gold hopeful Katarina Johnson-Thompson has entertained her 143.5k followers sharing the news that she mistakenly let two Jehovah's witnesses into her flat thinking they were random drug testers.

The 27 year-old told followers they opened with the line "bet you weren’t expecting us” which she immediately assumed meant they were there to test her.

Some of her followers offered tips as to how she could have dealt with the situation while others just shared their amusement.

Double world bronze medallist Jenny Meadows responded with 'This is so you!' while Olympic, World and European champion long jumper Greg Rutherford simply added laughing emojis.

One follower joked: "I bet they were just as surprised when you handed them a urine sample"

Many asked if they were still there and another said: "Did you run a mile? Or just the 100 metres?"

The British record holder is now focusing her attention on the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where she will be hoping to add an Olympic title to the gold medal she won at the World Athletics Championships in 2019.
