Frost sets in at Crawley
Crawley have signed Tyler Frost on a two-year deal following his release from Reading.
The 21-year-old midfielder did not make a first-team appearance at Reading but played for Havant and Waterlooville in the National League during the 2018-19 season.
Crawley head coach John Yems said: “He spent three to four weeks training with us before lockdown, he did well with us whilst at training.
“He played at a good level before with Reading and once again he could be a good addition to the squad.”
The Red Devils later made former Brighton full-back Archie Davies their second signing of the day.
The 21-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the option of a third following his release by the Seagulls.
Davies told the club website: “I’ve had good experience in the men’s game in different competitions with Brighton so I am ready to test myself in the Football League.”
Boss Yems said: “I saw Archie last year, he could be a top player for us, with experience of being at Brighton over the last eight years, he’ll be a good contender to challenge for spaces.”
