England wicketkeeper and batter Sarah Taylor has posted a nude photo of herself on social media for Women's Health UK as she continues to battle her own mental health problems.

The 30-year-old took to Instagram to post the image of her knocking the bails off a set of stumps with keepers' gloves on.

And below it she left a heartfelt message documenting how she feels about a woman's body image.

Taylor said: “Anyone that knows me will know that this is a little out of my comfort zone, but I’m so proud of myself and grateful to @womenshealthuk for inviting me to be a part of this issue.

"I’ve always had issues with my body and I had to get over a few in order to do this and it was completely empowering. Every other girl looks stunning! Please remember EVERY woman is BEAUTIFUL. Thank you to everyone involved!” she captioned her picture."

She has been battling depression since 2013 and recently took some time out of both the domestic and international game to deal with her personal issues.

A stalwart of women's cricket, Taylor holds the record for becoming the youngest woman ever to reach 1,000 ODI runs when she achieved the feat aged just 19.
