US soccer star Kealia Ohai and NFL Houston Texans' JJ Watt have tied the knot in a lavish Bahamas ceremony.

The couple, who have been dating for three years, said their 'I do'' in front of family and friends at the stunning Oceans Club.

They were first introduced by Watt's former Texans' team-mate Brian Cushing, who is married to 28 year-old Kealia's older sister Megan.

The Chicago Red Stars' forward made for a stunning bride in a beaded Berta gown with her hair in a chignon style so as to show off the back of her dress.

She accompanied the fishtail gown with diamond encrusted drop earrings, while Watt wore a tropical flower on his lapel to compliment his bride's bouquet.

Following the ceremony, guests sipped cocktails by the lily pond before hitting the dance floor accompanied by a live jazz band.

The newlyweds made a quick outfit change, looking more suited for a work-out in the gym rather than the dance floor.
