Chelsea women maintain 100 per cent winning streak in the third round of the Continental League Cup

Chelsea Women have maintained their winning streak in a 2-1 win against championship side Lewes in the third round of the League Cup. 

At the Dripping Pan stadium Blues' Erin Cuthbert scored her first goal in the cup after teammate Fran Kirby fired in from outside the box. 

Home side Lewes matched Chelsea as forward Katie Rood soon after shot into the top corner past goalkeeper Carly Telford

Chelsea maintained possession and showed composure in all areas from their defence through to their forward line throughout. 

Blues' Magdalena Eriksson sealed the win with a close range strike.

The London side have won three out of three matches and currently sit joint first in the group stage alongside Reading. 

Chelsea face Tottenham in the fourth round on November 20.
